We may retain applications from candidates we do not hire for a reasonable period in case a suitable position opens. If you would like your application materials deleted, contact us using the information below.
7. Reviewing, Correcting, and Deleting Your Information
You may request that we review, correct, update, or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us at the address in Section 12. Please describe what information you would like us to address so we can locate it. We will respond within a reasonable time.
We may need to retain certain information where required by law, or where it relates to a project record, a professional engineering file, an insurance matter, or an actual or anticipated legal claim. If we cannot honor a request in full, we will explain why.
8. California Privacy Rights
This Policy is provided in part to comply with the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA), which requires operators of commercial websites that collect personal information from California residents to post a privacy policy describing the categories of information collected, the categories of third parties with whom it may be shared, the process for reviewing and requesting changes to that information, and the policy's effective date. Those disclosures appear above.
Ponto Structural, Inc. is a small business and does not currently meet the thresholds that make the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the CPRA, applicable to it. Regardless, we do not sell personal information, and we will consider and respond in good faith to requests to access, correct, or delete personal information as described in Section 7.
9. Data Retention and Security
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, and longer where required by law, by our professional obligations, or by the record-retention requirements applicable to engineering documents.
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we hold. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
